Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the gateway to the magnificent temples of Angkor. It is the most popular tourist destination in Cambodia and as such enjoys the amenities of modern services and entertainment. The prices are also a bit higher here than elsewhere in Cambodia.

The French provided the blueprint for central Siem Reap, with its tree-line boulevards and old shophouses. The social hub is Psar Chaa (Old Market), where there are plenty of opportunities for shoppers. Nearby Sivatha Street is essentially the main street of Siem Reap. The riverside area includes a selection of hotels and eating options.
